Essential Reading Tools
I love to read. But I have a pretty hectic schedule, so I tote my latest read with me everywhere I go. That way, whenever I get a few secs, I can squeeze in a page or two. As you all know, I’m constantly on the lookout for ways to get myself more organized. That’s how I discovered a way to use some of my office faves at home. My trusty Post-it® Flag highlighter, tabs, and arrow flags are essential in helping me get the most out of each book that I read.
So, if you’re a avid reader like me, check out a few of these tips on how to use my essential reading tools to better organize your reading.
Organized Mess
I used to use canary yellow Post-it® Notes for EVERYTHING! Which worked fantastic for me, but not so much for anyone else. It was impossible to figure out which note went with what and lots of notes got lost in the shuffle. But you know how it is — you don’t want throw any of the notes away because you might need that info later! It was definitely time to get my organized mess cleaned up. That’s how I came up with these 4 easy ways to be a note hoarder AND stay organized.
Find What Matters FAST
I use color-coded Post-it® Arrow Flags (SKU: 684-ARR3) to pinpoint all important dates, meetings and anything that needs attention or action. They are especially handy when you need to point out where a signature should go on important documents. Arrow Flags even come labeled “Sign” and “Date” so that it is obvious what needs to be done when you put one next to a particular line. Using the bold colors like blue and red makes any message or detail hard to miss.
